Yilitza Olivera-Santiago is a Quality Systems Manager on Medtronic at Humacao, Puerto Rico. An enthusiastic leader, assertive, result-driven, and deeply committed to the community, she is also known for her strong technical expertise. With more than 30 years of experience, Yilitza is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. She has worked for companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Biologics, Eli Lilly, Fersinsa Gist Brocades, and Bristol Myers Squibb, holding positions of increasing responsibility and leadership. Olivera-Santiago holds a bachelor's degree in Biology with a major in Industrial Microbiology from the UPR-Mayagüez Campus and is a past president of the Puerto Rico Society of Microbiologists.
