Emanuel A. Carrasquillo-Dones, Ph.D.
Emanuel A. Carrasquillo-Dones is a postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Maribella Domenech in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus, where he focuses on cell-based assays and mechanical tests to understand triple-negative breast cancer. He aspires to become an independent researcher at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus, using bacterial protein over expression systems to further his work in molecular protein function. Additionally, he aims to mentor students, helping them with academic and professional decisions to enhance their prospects in academia and the industrial sector.
